  • During this one-hour observation, we could help identify learning goals, general direction, and intensity of the therapy that the child may need

Intensive Training: One-on-One

  • For children with a multitude of learning difficulties and behavioural problems may benefit from intensive one-on-one therapy
  • Programs are divided into six overarching domains:
    • Behaviour development
    • Communication
    • Academic and learning
    • Sensory and motor
    • Socio-emotional
    • Independence and self-help
    • Sessions are typically 2-3 hour blocks of time and may occur 2 to 5 days per week

Social Group

  • For students with difficulties socialising with common aged peers

  • The social group will teach the children specific skills to manage the challenges they face in their daily life experiences and in their social settings

  • The sessions are 2-3 hours long on every Friday and Saturday with a teacher-student ratio of 1:3

  • Enhance their motivation and desire to connect and to bond with their peers through a fun, learning environment

Pre-School

  • For children before age 6, who experience struggles with mainstream schooling may benefit from our preschool program

  • The preschool program includes tailor-made goals and learning objectives to develop on the child’s school readiness and learning skills to help them adapt in a school setting

  • It stimulates mainstream classroom setting to facilitate generalization and future integration

  • Each class is 3 hours long with a teacher-student ratio 1:2

School Shadow

  • For students who require assistance to generalize previously learned skills to school setting only when necessary

  • The therapy team will discuss and liaise with school personnel and develop and integration plan for the student

  • Therapist will accompany the child to school and help the child adapt to the school environment

  • Frequency and duration of school shadow of the therapist’s assistance will diminish when the child is comfortable with being independent school

  • We provide both center-based or home-based, individualized, one on one intensive ABA therapy to suit children specific needs. 
  • Programs are divided into six overarching domains:

    • Sensory and motor
    • Socio-emotional
    • Independence and self-help. 
  • Sessions are typically in 2-3 hour blocks of time and may occur 2 to 5 days per week.

  •  Adjustments to the plan would be made when necessary. Eventually, the frequency and duration of the therapist’s assistance would diminish until the student is comfortable with being independent at school.

Ideal path

One-to-One Individual Training

  • At least a year
  • The child will acquire skills essential for typical learning environment under these 6 domains
    • Behaviour Development
    • Communication
    • Socio-emotional Development
    • Independence and Self-help
    • Academic and Learning
    • Sensory Motor Skills
  • The number of sessions per week depends on the needs of each child as discussed between parents and supervisors
  • Students may attend our pre-school programme or social group, depending on their needs
  • Most students continue with their one-to-one training after joining the pre-school or social group programmes

Preschool programme

  • At least a year
  • Provides training that helps students to enhance necessary school readiness skills learned in their one-to-one training sessions
  • Pre-school programme runs 3 times a week
  • Available in both Cantonese and English

Social Group

  • At least a year
  • For students with difficulties socialising with common aged peers
  • Targets of our social group ranges from elementary level (For e.g. responding to teachers and peers, turn-taking) to advance level ( For e.g. emotion regulation, empathy, theory of mind)
  • Social group runs once a week for 2 hours in both Jordan and Sheung Wan Center
  • Available in both Cantonese and English
